Abraham came to the City of Refuge together with his siblings Teresita and Levi. Their family has very limited resources, and keeping three growing children fed, clothed, and in school was more than they could manage.

At the City of Refuge, Abraham has the enormous comfort of being safe without being separated from his brother and sister. He is an avid soccer player, and afternoons on the field are the highlight of his day.

Abraham wants to become a police officer when he grows up. A sponsor’s monthly gift keeps him in school, well cared for, and steadily moving toward that goal.
