Joséage 18 · City of Refuge, Honduras
José Ariel comes from a very poor village in the Comayagua region of Honduras. His mother carried the responsibility for the family alone, without a stable job, which made every month uncertain.
At the City of Refuge, José attends the IMI School, where he has the classes, meals, and stability that make real study possible. He is shy at first, but friendly once you know him, and like many boys at the City of Refuge he loves a good game of soccer.
José’s dream is to become a civil engineer, someone who designs and builds things that last. At eighteen, he is closer to that goal than ever, and a sponsor helps carry him through these decisive final years of his education.
