Olga is the fourth child in a family with very limited resources. Back home, she walked thirty minutes each way to attend school, and she kept doing it, all the way through sixth grade, because she wanted to learn that much.

That determination has a proper home now. At the City of Refuge, Olga’s classroom is close by, her meals are certain, and her days have room for the thing she loves most: dancing.

Olga wants to become a doctor, and a girl who walked an hour a day for a sixth-grade education is exactly the kind of student who gets there. Sponsorship clears the road in front of her.
