Victor is the youngest child of a very poor family from a small Honduran village. Back home, his whole community shared a single school with one teacher, and that teacher was frequently too ill to hold class. For a boy who wants to become a doctor, that was a door that kept closing before he could walk through it.

Today Victor lives at the City of Refuge near Comayagua, where he is safe, well fed, and in school every day. Given the choice of anything to do for fun, he heads straight for the water: swimming is his favorite thing in the world.

Victor’s dream is to be a doctor one day, and for the first time that dream has a real path in front of it. Your sponsorship keeps him fed, clothed, educated, and surrounded by people who believe in him.
